Facilities... SBL's toll manufacturing facilities are located within a 60,000 square foot production facility. The design of the facility is modular allowing for easy modifications of equipment and processing to meet changing customer needs. The facility was designed to follow current USDA food-grade regulations with certain processing areas following 3A standards. The facility is supported with culinary-grade steam via a high-pressure boiler system, oil-free food-grade high-capacity air compressor, and plant-produced deionized water. Production equipment includes multiple high-shear dispersive mixers, The production facility is supported by state-of-the-art analytical laboratories which insure products meet consumer specifications. The laboratories are equipped with the latest in analytical equipment including high-performance liquid chromatography, color analysis, moisture analysis, and rheological equipment. The laboratories can also be used to support new product development, or modifications to existing customer products, as needed. The research staff has over 20 years experience in product development in a variety of food and industrial application areas.
